Affirmation: “I am filled with gratitude.”
Journal Prompt:
What parts of me, and/or the life I’ve lived, am I grateful for?
Self-Care Ritual:
Write yourself a thank you card.
That’s right, a thank you card.
Get a plain white sheet of paper, and fold it in half, top to bottom. Then fold it in half again, side to side, until you have what looks like a card.
Find a pen, or a pencil, or a marker, or a crayon, and write yourself a thank you card. Fill it with all the things you wrote about in your journaling.
Now, stand it up on your nightstand, or your dresser top, or your bathroom counter… somewhere you will see it every day. And when you see it, think about all the things you are grateful for about you, and tell yourself “Thank You” for being so amazing!
